Welcome ladies!

I hope you enjoy this discipleship and most importantly, I pray that it will challenge your walk and intensify your intimacy with the Lord!

There are so many women documented in the Bible. What did the women of the Bible experience, what did they learn from those experiences? What can we learn from their experiences? Why does it matter that they were women and not men (besides the obvious childbearing and whatnot)? How can the same experience be so different because of gender?

This is a topical study based on the women of the Bible. What were their experiences with faith, pride, jealousy, adultery, wisdom, worship etc? We will see how the women of the Bible fit into the story of Salvation. We will be able to see, through them, how much God loves us and what the right and wrong response to that love is.

Throughout this study, I would like to ask you to keep your heart open to what God wants to show you. Sometimes after you read the reference, the Lord shows you something completely different than we concentrate on. I would rather you concentrate on what the Lord is putting in your heart. Write it down. Meditate on it and respond to it before you start answering the homework questions. If you get a different angle or different point altogether, that’s great (as long as it’s Biblical)! That only shows you that God is speaking to you directly though His word.

I would also like to challenge you to count the cost of the discipleship before you commit. If you begin, finish. If you know of anything that would keep you from fulfilling that commitment, don’t commit.
